Welcome to Oren Art Gallery.

We are a community based art gallery situated in the heart of Chester at no 45 Watergate Row South. We show and celebrate the work of local artists from Chester, the surrounding areas and North Wales.

We are passionate about giving artists the opportunity to exhibit their work in a professional but relaxed setting in the beautiful gallery of Oren.

Oren being the Welsh name for orange symbolises positivity, good energy and creativity. It’s founding members - Gemma Atkins and Marcia Crocombe, both professional artists themselves, strive hard to promote the talent of the surrounding areas and continue to seek new artists from various genres.

The Cheshire School of Jewellery is a fully equipped workshop in the heart of the Cheshire countryside offering a range of jewellery making courses

suitable for a range of abilities, including one off sessions where you can make your own piece of jewellery to take home with you. Also available are longer courses that enable students to gain a more in-depth knowledge of silversmithing and jewellery making. In addition, courses in precious metal clay, resin and beaded jewellery are also available.

All courses are taught by fully qualified and experienced teacher Lisa Taylor.
